Nikhil Mishra is the founder and CEO of OPSYRA, and a senior software engineer specialising in generative AI and LLM systems. He builds the platform that measures whether AI answer engines cite a website, and writes about the technical faults that quietly make sites unreadable to them.
Nikhil is a senior software engineer by profession, with a background in generative AI, large language model systems and full-stack product development. He has previously worked at Paytm, and is also a co-founder of CricFight.
OPSYRA came out of a straightforward observation while doing search work: almost everything being sold as AI search advice was untested, because almost nobody was checking what the engines actually returned. He built the checking apparatus — a system that runs real buyer queries against live answer engines and records who gets cited — and then turned it into a product.
He writes here mostly about the engineering side of AI search: how crawlers really behave, why client-rendered sites are invisible to them, what structured data does for extraction, and how to measure citations when there is no ranking position to track.
